Student/Teacher Jazz Concerts at the Duc des Lombards

Finally a jazz concert for families at a reasonable hour! This famous Parisian jazz club opened in 1984 has welcomed some of the most important musicians in the history of modern jazz such as Benny Golson, Branford Marsalis, Ahmad Jamal and Michel Petrucciani.

L’Ecole Koenig’s students and teachers will perform 3 sets at 12 PM, 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM in this mythical venue. This is a wonderful opportunity to have a real Parisian jazz club experience, with and for children. These concerts are suitable even for the very young!

  • Participation : 15€ adults, 8€ children for association members

Music at ISP

International School of Paris

In coordination with ISP’s in-school music program, Ecole Koenig’s talented, professional music instructors offer lessons after school, at all levels, on the ISP campus.



From private lessons to group ensembles, the Koenig staff has been accompanying children through music for 23 years. In addition to courses, Koenig offers young musicians multiple performance opportunities throughout the year.

Courses available at ISP:


  • Discovery Group (ages 5-6)
  • Hands on initiation to the instrumental families throughout the year: keyboard, strings and woodwinds!

  • Mini Courses (ages 6-7)
  • A fun-filled group lesson with the instrument of your choice: piano, cello, violin, flute or recorder.

  • 3×3 Class – For older beginners
  • Three students experience the satisfaction of playing together for one hour, starting from the very first lesson!

  • Private lessons – 30 or 45 minutes
  • Cello, Clarinet (classical/jazz), Drums, Electric Bass, Flute, Guitar (classical/jazz), Piano (classical/jazz), Recorder, Saxophone (classical/jazz), Trumpet, Violin, Voice

  • Guitar Club – Flute Club – Drum Club – Bandstand – Sax Club – Keyboard Club
  • Open to students with previous instrumental experience. Six students per group for a weekly one-hour class. The goal of the class is to acquire musical and instrumental skills through the preparation of repertoire in all styles… Jazz, Classical, Rock and Funk.
