We at l’Ecole Koenig consider it essential to meet every student in order to evaluate his or her needs. For this reason, we cannot register any student via email or regular mail. To schedule an appointment or for more information, please contact us.
At l’Ecole Koenig, we select our students not only for their talent, but also their motivation and willingness to work. It is also essential that our young students’ parents understand that their participation is also indispensable for a good musical education. A student who is regularly encouraged at home will discover the immense pleasure of making steady progress, which in turn leads to an even greater personal commitment.
Each year the school organizes many special activities in which all students can participate. These include the production of musical comedies, competitions and master classes, events that further inspire our young musicians and expand their horizons. For this reason, we strongly encourage our students and their parents to take part in as many of the school’s activities as possible.
Begins in the first week of September, 2009.
Registration of former students is not automatic, but dependent on the application and progress of students throughout the school year.
* First step : please verify that your enrollment forms have been carefully completed and then return them along with your 95€ administrative and supply fee per family. The enrollment forms are available for download here: Enrollment forms
* Second step : once we have received your enrollment forms, we will then organize the classes, days and hours available for next year, taking into consideration the pedagogical recommendations of their current teachers, as well as the availability of both our teachers and your child. At this point we will propose three possible time slots.
* Third step : once you have confirmed the days and times of next year’s classes, you will receive an invoice detailing the prices for the 2009/2010 school year and offering several methods of payment.
No registration can be made without an interview. Interviews and registration will begin during the first week of September, 2009.
Class spaces are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis with returning students receiving priority scheduling.

* Second step : once the returning students have been re-enrolled, we will then begin processing the new students in the order that we received the forms. We then recontact you to set up an appointment with one of our professors.
* Third step : After the appointment, we will then contact you to propose three possible time slots.
* Fourth step : once you have confirmed the days and times of next year’s classes,
you will receive an invoice detailing the prices for the 2009/2010 school year and offering several methods of payment.

Classes for 2009-2010 will start September 28, 2009 .
Note: Our school year will henceforth be divided into 2 semesters (rather than 3 trimesters), with a total of 30 weeks of classes. We follow the French school calendar.
Registration at L’Ecole Koenig is annual. We rely on the profound commitment of both our staff and our students and parents to respect this commitment. Any cancellation or change in scheduling is not only disrupting to the pedagogical aims of our programs and teachers but also disturbing to the organization of our school year.
Therefore, any cancellation taking place during the school year will not be reimbursed except in cases of transfer move of the family, prolonged illness or hospitalization (with doctor’s certification). This same commitment is also assured by our staff and teachers.
