Admissions at Ecole Koenig: Where Bright Futures Begin
Our thoughtful admissions process includes a family meeting and student assessment to ensure Ecole Koenig is the right fit for your child's unique learning journey. Please follow our 4-step process to keep things running smoothly.
Step 1) Fill Out the Intake Form
Start by filling out the Student Intake Form (any ENROLL NOW button).
Step 2) School Introduction
Set up either a phone call or attend one of our information sessions to learn more about the school.
Step 3) Complete the Application Form
Visit the school with your child(ren). If you are unable to visit the school you can still complete an application online.
Step 4) Get Accepted
Receive your letter of acceptance and pay your deposit. Or receive notice of waitlist.
New Families from France

After submitting your application, we will invite your child to a Circletime visit on campus to meet our team.

Parents will then have a meeting with the Director of Education to discuss our program and answer any questions.
New Families from Abroad

We understand that international relocations can happen unexpectedly. If you are moving to France, apply anytime, there is no strict deadline.

If a campus visit isn’t possible, we will arrange a virtual meeting with the Director after you submit your application.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does your school have a playground?
No, we do not in central Paris but we have ready access to the three major parks closest to us! Additionally, children stay active with weekly sports and dance classes.
If my child goes into a traditional school environment after Ecole Koenig, will they be able to adapt?
Children from Ecole Koenig adapt well to conventional schools academically, yet miss our vibrant music, theater, and supportive learning environment that nurtures their social-emotional development
Are there any kind of "Fast Track" application procedure for the Preschool?
No. We do however offer our Baby Musicking Program partakers from our Music School a special application procedure that ends with the first admissions commission (end of January) instead of the second one (beginning of March). As the usual amount of available spots is low, they can benefit from the first screening. However, the admission procedure per se is the same for everyone.
Can the non-refundable fees be refunded?
No. Non-refundable fees will not refunded nor credited towards any other part of the school as the spot you have freed might not find a new student.
I want to apply for the following school year, when should I do it?
You may apply for upcoming school years whenever you want. We encourage families to apply as soon as possible, as it helps us schedule the different meetings. However please keep in mind that this has no impact on the admissions commission's decision regarding your application.
Why can't I bring my child for the meeting with the Director of the Preschool?
Our experience shows that in order to have a good exchange with parents, the absence of the child is of utmost importance. This allows each of us to focus on the discussion and not on the child.
I have received a positive admission notification for my child to the Preschool, what is the enrollment deadline?
Decisions will be sent to families as soon as possible after the admissions commission. As soon as the notification is sent, you have a limited number of days to confirm the enrollment of your child and to pay the yearly non-refundable fees online. Past that deadline, the spot might be given to a student on the waitlist.
